Why Copyright Registration
The creator has inherent copyright in its creations and the copyright act prevents its unauthorized use or infringement imposing liability criminal and civil liability with the minimum punishment of imprisonment of six months or with a minimum fine of Rs. 50,000/-. In the case of a second and subsequent conviction, the minimum punishment is imprisonment for one year and a fine of Rs.1,00,000/-.
